Southern City Gate Project

One of the largest investment in Hungary is the Southern City Gate development, for which we elaborated the Masterplan, and we provided support during the entire planning period of the Athletic Stadium.
The assignment consisted of 2 main elements:
  • Elaboration of the district operational and development concept
  • Providing professional operation support and vindicate conception in connection with future operation during the planning period in special regard to the Athletics Stadium also touchong the Rowing Center.
The concept development came into existence in several stages. As a first step, we outlined an operational model and evaluated the possible options for future operation. Following to this, the Masterplan planning began, which is normally an urban planning and developmen issue, but we were involved, since many architectural ideas have a significant impact on the future operation (such as energy supply, waste management, parking, etc.). Our company commented the completed documentation point by point, helping KKBK.
The other part of the assignment was the utilization and operator expertise during the design phases of the Athletics Stadium, Athletics Training Center and Rowing Center. The work required a daily presence and it was extremely multiple. Some of the elements:
  • Defining the operator organization and set of the required space
  • Expertise in the operation of the building services system in terms of safety and cost optimization
  • Defining material uses
  • Setting and commenting on space needs

Moholy Nagy University of Applied Arts

Moholy-Nagy University of Applied Arts has developed a new campus in which the training can be held in conditions. In the final phase of the investment, our company was sought to take a part in launch of the new campus operation

University of Sopron New Campus

As part of the transformation of the universities, the University of Sopron also became a Foundation. In connection with the emerging needs, Sándor Csányi, the head of the foundation asked for a feasibility study in which the architectural idea and the subsequent operation could be harmonized. Accordingly, we were assigned by the university through the designer to develop a concept and present feasibility calculations to prove that the resulting investment is sustainable and that operation would be not be much more expensive than the current one, and fits with the so-called Green university

Sopron - Lake Fertő investment

As part of Sopron-Lake Fertő investment, a complex tourist center will be established.
Our company has been involved in the first phase of planning in order to achive the most sufficient operation and utilization of the future complex. We were assigned on behalf of the planning company, KÖZTI. In the course of the project our team set up a primary model for utilization, and we also elaborated an analytical study for operation. We were providing consultation in various stages of the design procedure.
As a second round, it was the investor that ordered the further work, such as
  • in-depth analyzes,
  • business calculations,
  • elaboration of the operation plan,
  • support the elaboration of the implementation
  • Work is in progress at the same time with the construction.

    Audy FM statutory rule

    Audi Hungária cooperates with several service partners in operation of the Győr site, which is almost completely outsourced. In this setting, it is a responsibility of the partners to comply with the legal requirements, nevertheless, Audi Hungary wanted to know what German and Hungarian legislation and guidelines must be upheld in the field of technical operation and maintenance.
    In the first stage, we compiled the German and Hungarian regulations (including laws, decrees, standards and directives) that have any impact on the operation of the factory units. There were several results of the study.
    • Hungarian regulations focus mainly to the field of technical protocols.
    • Most of the rules do not have any direct impact on maintenance, but describes a certain condition that can be achieved by maintenance.
    • The consequences are very different, so compliances and enforcements are pretty much ‘flexible’.
    • Nearly 150 rules should be known by professionals in the field of technical operation!
    In the second phase, the results had to be analysed and we placed recommendations for the next steps. In the meantime, the target had to be extended because by this more comprehensive view we were able to find the source of the problems. We went on along the ISO EN 41012, which was published this time. Key process steps:
    • Compilation of an audit questionnaire based on the standard
    • Conducting the pilot project audit, compilation of relevant questionnaire and evaluation
    • Conduct a full audit
    • Make a recommendation for improvement based on a problem map.

    Athletic Stadium

    On behalf of the Hungarian Athletic Assosiation we elaborated a feasibility study for the operation of the future athletic stadium. Our team took a part as a subcontractor in the development procedure, providing the client with operational cost estimation results.

    Budapest Health Model

    In 2009, our company were assigned to proceed the due diligence (including proposal for solution) of the property management and facility management of hospitals in the capital, as a part of Budapest Healt Model project. We found 20% under-utilized area. Following to this we placed recommendation for restructuring and standardizing. The study has never been realized, nevertheless, a number of its statements were applied in the past 20 years. For example, the so called ’super hospital’ were mentioned here for first time.
